Well, despite being sicker than a dog for days I managed to stagger up and set up my etsy account. Finally. It did mean reshooting some jewelry - with prettier backgrounds. This piece I made on Saturday during the snowstorm...

I like it.
Its a bit of goth and a bit of Steampunk. The little spider is chasing after the glowing garnet.

I used a lovely piece of handmade paper as the background... no. I didn't make it though! It comes from Indonesia.. or Bali. Can't remember. I used to do bookbinding so I've got a ton of great papers.

I love the idea of a clock work spider you know like a pully and gears etc letting out the silk and so on...

oh I would love to make one. A real clockwork spider. this little guy just filled up the space in the old pocket watch perfectly though
