I like this piece because it has a bit of romantic steampunk elements. I love the shades of brass - and this piece is very 3D. The sparrow was placed on these little platforms I build (taking advantage of the raised brass columns that separated the face from the gears). I got some of these truly lovely brass flowers that are a delicate colour - pink and minty green.
