Reminds me of a childrens book called, 'There's a monster under my bed' and the monster in it is a big green, polka dotted harmless looking thing. Awesome job keep up the good work!!

I don't think I've ever read that children's book, but I'll have to look it up! I work in a preschool and the kids might really like it.

I just googled it, the guy who wrote that book is Mercer Mayer, he actually has a series of books of this nature, one other called, "There's a nightmare in my closet" which is actually the title I was thinking of but hey it's been many many years since I read those kind of books!

Love it!
I imagined the monsters under my bed as the little things from the Critters movies.

I don't think I've seen that movie. I always had monsters in my closet, and only rarely did they invade the space beneath my bed too. As long as I had my magical protective blankie they couldn't touch me. I was convinced.

I'm very, very new to watercolours. Thanks for the happy comment.
Yeah, I fail at drawing scary monsters. But I knew going into it that I would suck at drawing scary monsters, so the effort was pretty half-hearted. I'm actually claiming the spikey orange one as a pet.

AHHHHHH <--artgasm
Wow. You're making me miss watercoloring. This is good stuff. Once again, love the color choices...and the shadows kick ass, man. I aslo like the folds on the bed..though they're pretty..."neat and symmetrical" and probably wouldn't look like that in real life, it has a cool surreal feel to it.
Well done, m'dear...I give you an A.

Yahh... the bedsheets are pretty stylized... but then, the whole thing is pretty stylized. (Also, I didn't bother to reference any cloth folds when I did it, and bedsheet wrinkling isn't something I'm familiar with, really.)
I like the shadows, too. At first I wasn't going to do them (for conceptual reasons), but then... the composition demanded them. So I complied. What can I say, I'm a pushover. My art wins.
I less than three your "artgasm." What a cool word. *adds it to list of favourite invented words*

I'd like to say that I invented the word "artgasm" but I have no idea...I probably heard it from someone wittier than I.
Being a pushover works for you. Keep it up, m'dear.
