Description BUBBLE SOAP - PURE JOY IN A BOTTLE.
Bubbles make most everyone happy.
But how do we capture their enchanting beauty on digital canvas?

Well I don't know. But you can watch me try while narrating myself.

Yeah I'm sleepy and bored with art block so I figured I'd do something that required no artisic prowess whatsoever. XD

So yay, bubbles becauseeee Ginna asked for it and I have time.

♥; Although I'd much rather be drawing for someone and being productive. D|<

Mr.T is apparently narrating the header sections

Yay Christmas c:
Oh
And this is undoubtedly NOT the best way to make soap bubbles. XD

I'm sorry but for the some reason the gradient isnt responding well to the distoration. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and its becoming frustrating. After I put in the gradient the Select circle ( the circle that you make from the circular marquee tool) dissapears. I would really appreaciate if I can get some advice, and its because your bubbles look awesome

Hey, sorry for the slow reply!

Hm, going over my method I can't get to get my selection to deselect. D: But that doesn't matter, here's a method to easily re-select your initial selection. You just have to do the tutorial steps in a slightly different order.

1. Make your selection, and fill in the desired base color.
2. DO NOT erase or alter the base color layer in any way. Make sure it remains a circle of full opacity color.
3. Make your new layer, add in a clipping mask with the base color layer.
4. Add in your gradient on the new layer. If the selection deselects after you put the gradient in, just ctrl+click on the thumbnail of the base layer in the layer menu, and the exact selection should reappear.
5. Continue with your spherizing and twirling effects. Should your selection ever deselect, You can just ctrl+click the thumbnail again, and it should reappear.
6. After finishing the gradient effects, you can go back to your base layer and erase away the middle (as indicated in step three of the deviation.)

Let me know if that works, or if it needs more explaining!

Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I used it to make this: [link] I read/watched like six different tutorials, but I liked this one the most by far. I love how easily they can be adjusted for more or less color.
