The detail on the closest one is wild. ^^
1.) Our hummers are gone. If any shows up it's from the north. They're migrating.
2.) I think you might have a spot of dust on your sensor. Look for the black dot in the upper left-hand corner. Just visible.
I had one in one of MY hummer shots, and I read up on it in a digital camera book (they even show pics of what to look for. And that looks like it. I hope you know NOT TO TOUCH that sensor! Very sensitive thing. I used a quick, gentle puff of air from an air can.) You probably already know all this. But in case you didn't....
I hope I don't come across as a know-it-all. Just trying to be helpful.
I'll shut up now. Again, great photo moment!

on the sensor or the lens? where would you direct your puff of air if it is the sensor that has dust on it - into the lens cavity of the camera?
and thanks for the tip - i can use all the help i can get

onto the sensor itself. Just make sure nothing touches it but a gentle puff of air. The sensor is very thin.
Mom's still waiting on her D40...it wouldn't accept a SD memory card anymore. Like the camera was telling her something... Not back from BB yet.
We were told the D5000 (?) was the smaller update to the D40. (it IS a little smaller...but focus timing sucks.)

I rarely see them, and didn't know they battled. Do they hurt one another? What is the purpose of battling??
