Welcome to the Coasterfreak's Custom Coasters Showcase. Today we are showing Nightmare with a beyond 90 degree drop and intense elements and speed.Β The Sweet Dreams will be shattered by the fears of the Nightmare! Wow, this is amazing! Almost everything about this is just... perfect! I don't think there's anyone else on Deviantart who does anything similar. How did you manage to get a video on here? Anyway, while things like these are common for amusement parks and arcades, they're quite rare for an art site, and quite unique.
Also, I love how much realism and detail you put into it. The realistic trees, the place to get off, you didn't forget anything! The music and the rain made the ride fit more with the theme.
However, there were two things which I think need to be addressed. First of all, I think it should be a bit faster on the drops, which could add more suspense. Also, maybe some more things to fit with the 'Nightmare' theme. Like, some 'spooky' decorations.
Other than that, this is so amazing!

In order to get the permissions to upload a video here isn't very easy, and its been so long since getting the permission, I can't remember much, but I believe there is an application and I think you have to show something you made in video form. Though even going through all that, it is really up to Deviant-art staff to give the video/film upload permission.
We do tend to be close to realism as possible, and Nightmare does clock at 82 mph as its max speed, I do know some spots were a bit slow and that is part of the simulation physics and we will try our best to correct that problem in future releases of new rides.
I'm still very new to this simulator and I'm working closely with my friends at Utah Coasters Enthusiasts to help me improve my skill in this new program.

The simulator uses real world stats for each coaster, so its makes it all realistic.

You have to get the permission from deviantart. I'm not sure if DA has changed the video permission options since I got mine many years ago.

Well I think at the time DA was just an art site, no videos and started to introduce it a few years ago. Its not the most perfect thing in the world since all videos have to be under 200MB to even upload it.

This is amazing! The speed and vertigo, the rain, the storm, the design are super well done. I cannot select one single element like my favorite, because all of them together create this outstanding experience.

Awesome design! That's a roallercoaster I totally would wat to ride. Here is my favourite part, where you're still in the loop, but kinda slow down.

Oh gosh that was one amazing ride! I would LOVE to see this in a 3D theatre, it's just so well done and keeps you on the edge of your computer seat for fear of your life! I absolutely LOVE the red colored tracks and rainy dark weather, it just adds to the feeling of beign trapped and unable to get off the ride. Beautiful, absolutely amazing work!

Like I said about the other one I commented on; great work. With this one I'm also not a big fan of the typography however. The rain was also a little distracting due to the big droplets, but the misty effect did look really cool.

I know, I got that, but I think it's worth tweaking a bit. There seemed to be these dark outlines to the droplets and I think a more subtle effect might work better.

The rain is part of the simulator me and UEC used, so there really isn't a way to change the rain graphic other than making it less rainy.

I love the idea of this, ive never seen anyone on DA do anything similar. And i love all the realism you put into it, with the rain and the trees. But i do think it could be a bit faster so it would add more suspense, but other than that, its amazing! :3

I personally am not a very big fan of roller coasters and couldn't make it all the way through the video. I do think that the way you have made this a video is really cool and a good platform for this. Also the colors you used for the coaster really does make it have a nightmare vibe.
