My submission for today's Sketch Dailies theme on Twitter (sketch _Dailies / 03.28.2014). Thematically I've always loved samurai and I've incorporated some of their mythos into my own works. I was really glad to see it as today's theme since today is my 'day off' from my regular 9-to-5 and I use it as a general art day, what's more fun then spending your money drawing a samurai in the snow, nearly dead, bleeding out, but undaunted. Fun fun fun

I had a lot of fun with the blood, it was relatively simple to do: Scribble out a red blob with a thin brush, go back with the default chalk brush and push/pull the blob with the edges of the brush. Lather, rinse, repeat. Fun! ^_^
