Description
I have a last minute gradient thrown over the torch that's set to color dodge but I think I expanded it a bit too far out, it kind of illuminates more of the image than I wanted to..ah well.

We have a hapless adventurer, who knows what he's doing or why he's in such a place all by himself with no gear other than a torch (that's my fault actually, I got sidetracked and forgot to flesh him out more), but here he is, about to become lunch. I originally was playing around with the idea of just having the torch being the only lightsource with the fleshy bits of the monsters in the darkness getting just a small hints of lighting but it felt way too muddied up so I opted for the easy way out and gave them some kind of lighting coming off of their bodies.

I always thought scenes like that were creepy, where you'd have this darkened area and then more and more lights from whatever monsters were lurking would start illuminating themselves, like the eyes of the Garthim in The Dark Crystal when Jen falls into the pit in the castle.
