Description
Before I launch into his information, I thought I might point out that this pony is based largely off of a canon character from the TV Show Dan Vs.. And so, while some things may be different about him, the original character that he is based off of belongs to Dan Mandel, the creator of Dan Vs., and the only thing I really own is the design.

That said, let's get on with the good stuff..

Talents:
Cutie Mark: A question mark with a unicorn's silhouette. Earned when he first began stealing credit cards and impersonating other ponies in his early 20s.

His TRUE cutie mark is hidden beneath a fake one- an old fashioned telephone. He maintains his disguise with a special potion that he buys at regular intervals from his connection- Madam Equinox- the naga witch who lives in the Everfree Forest.

Abilities/Attributes:
Likes wearing his catsuit, stockings, and other feminine clothing. He wears it not only to mess with Dan, but also because he likes the way he looks while he's wearing it.

Demeanor:
Personality: Despite the things he's had to do to get by in the past, Shady has maintained a helpful and kind outward appearance to the average onlooker. He's known for being helpful, kind, and sincere, volunteering at numerous charity organizations, helping around his neighborhood, and spending his free time doing random acts of kindness whenever the mood so strikes him. As a result, he's favored by many people that have met him.

Underneath this demeanor, however, he's at heart very calculative, manipulative, and somewhat deceitful. He is a smooth liar, and for the most part able to get out of any situation he finds himself in. Few people know that's what's underneath his collected, suave exterior.

Friendship/Loyalty(in general): Being an identity thief, retired or not, means having connections to many different people across all trades. Be it bomb specialists, black market arms dealers, drug runners, or crooked politicians, he's got a lengthy list of past comrades that he can still call upon to help him at a moment's notice with whatever he needs, no matter what it might be. He's always forging new alliances, meeting new people, gathering information about people he already knows, and digging deeper in their pasts than they'd care to know.

He uses damning information he finds as leverage when he needs it, and as such it makes him rather skilled in the art of blackmail.

This isn't to say that he's not loyal to the people that he actually cares for, what few there are. If he finds it in his better interest to keep you around, or if he grows fond of you, chances are he'll stand by you through thick and thin to support you (or at least to earn your trust, prune you to suit what he needs, and keep you in a vulnerable position).

In the past, he's even taken on new identities, pulled strings, paid bribes, and gone to near unbelievable lengths to clean up after the select few individuals that matter to him, just to ensure that no matter what happens he's still got them to rely on in the end. He takes care ensuring that whatever trust still existing between him and his friends stays strong.

Sometimes, he'll even go so far as to tell the people closest to him about his line of work, but he's got to trust you quite a bit before he opens up like that. And even then, you've got to bring it upon yourself to ask him about it. If he doesn't trust you yet, it's likely he'll change the subject as smoothly as possible instead of opening up.

Love/Emotion:
Since he was virtually ignored as a child, and started stealing identities fairly early on in his life, he is somewhat unfamiliar with the concept of true emotions being shown towards him rather than the person he’s pretending to be. This often results in him getting surprised/flustered when they’re intended for him; however, when he gets past the shock, he can be very affectionate and caring for the one that he chooses to be with. Above everything else, he wants to be loved, and so he will protect, care for, and dote on the one that he chooses.

However, he finds emotions to be a relatively dangerous thing to have towards any of the people, things, places, or ideas connected with the identities he’s stolen. So, he hasn't really taken the time to let someone get to know him before.. Though, that's not to say that he doesn't want to learn.

Feelings for Dan: At first, it started out as just another identity theft heist, but he started to feel something more for him soon after things started. Dan is exactly the sort of unpredictability that he desires, and he particularly relishes the times that he can invade his space, his apartment, and bother him in the littlest ways possible.

However, underneath the teasing, Dan is the first person he has felt anything genuine towards in a very long time and he would probably do anything for him if it came down to it. He would give up his charade, his life of crime and mimicry, to have a chance at something more rewarding- a life with the stallion he loves.

I've actually had his information typed out for a while.. most of this stuff is taken and revised from my old Muse Information that I had posted on tumblr when I roleplayed as him. (Remember when I was the-telemarketer? Fun times, brofaces.) I couldn't help but gush a little bit while I was writing his feelings for Dan. I'm sorry.. ;w;

Also, although his real name is Shady, I probably won't draw him in his "Undisguised" appearance very often. Nor will I refer to him as Shady Silhouette unless he is undisguised. You should note that Shady Silhouette and Collector's Call are both names that refer to the same stallion.~

Am I the only one who immediately thought of the phrase "Slim Shady" as a nickname? XD
