When you save as .PNG, select the bottom option (each pixel have opacity) and it makes your backgrounds transparent. Eliminates an unnecessary step of going to another program to make it transparent.

actually, if you were to unview the background layer, and save it as the second setting, then you'd get tansparency

That's not necassary. Paint tool sai has his one pixel lines.
