Description
In this piece I was trying to make a strange underwater effect for the background with watercolors before I drew the turtle but instead of water it came out more like deep space so I carried on doing the turtle thinking about a huge space turtle swimming om a distant galaxy with a very silent and serious look to it. I used high contrasts of light and dark to make it look more imposing. For the turtle I used acrylics and I scratched the surface for whites.
