I guess this is sort of a political cartoon without the politics. This is my response to all the crazy fan girl (and boys) who are constantly bickering over who Sonic loves. This debate has mainly been targeted between to groups: the Amy fans/ Sally haters and the Sally fans/ Amy haters. I my opinion, this is pointless. We're talking about which character a fictional blue hedgehog should puck-her-up to! There's a thousand more important things going on in the world and yet its as though the whole world has to stop just because someone doesn’t like a character. Jeez!Personally, I'm more of a SonicXSally kind of guy, possibly since my main Sonic influences in my childhood were the cartoons and comics. But I still like Amy and think she is a great character.I tried to make the Sally fan appear to be older than the Amy as most SonAmy fans seem to be the younger fans who got into the series after Sonic Adventure and most SonSal fans are those who grew up with Sonic back in the Genesis days.
If you don’t like a character, fine, just don’t go around dising people who do! Its stupid! Can’t we look past our differences and look at our similarities? We all like Sonic and that’s enough, right?

Well... I have to admit that at first I was a fanbrat and hated Sally Acorn with no apparent reason (Do I need to add I was a hardcore Sonamy fan?) Then, one day I found this video in Youtube. It was a defense of the character Sally Acorn. I started to think about the whole hate-Sally thing, and I noticed it was just plainly stupid. I didn't even know her!!...
Today I still remember those days. Now I started to search for the Sonic Comics, because they seem interesting and maybe will make me think about "What would happen if...?" and I'm still in the whole shipping-mania, but now I ship other couples (also a multishipper with certain characters)

I know That I'm not a saint at this, but I agree with you, There are some people that bring a WAR on eachother and just hate on eachother as if they are animals. I may not like either pairings (though I was a Sonamy fan in the past) but I think there's a valid point.
Anyway- That doesn't mean that I am going to change my mind of placing my points of my beliefs. I do like the pic however, Really shows how Fan Wars would probably go down like -_- *sigh*

I think it's funny how some fan people make them fight and diss amy or sally. It's so dumb! In the comics, Sally and Amy are actually friends. And does it really mater who sonic's dating? Face it, we only really play the video games and read the commics to see sonic save the day. True, it's fun to see him date someone, but that's not the point. And fan people don't have to make it seem like that's what it's all about. I love this pic anyway and it's awesome!!!!

I'm in total agreement. Infact the comics make Sally and Amy out to be good friends. I made this as a response to the fan war between Amy and Sally fans.

Very funny, its like a bunch of other pairing arguments out there.
Personally I prefer Amy X Sonic but that's because my only source of Sonic story is the plot created between Sonic the Hedgehog (Original) to Shadow the Hedgehog in the games. I don't read the comics or anything like that so Sally is pretty much unknown to me.

I personally don't care about the Sonic pairing, mainly because he's done a bang-up job holding a steady girlfriend.
In my mind Sally was the first offical pairing and the longest running actual girlfriend. I also prefer Sonsal, but I don't mind Sonamy. Amy chasing Sonic around with her huge piko hammer is also funny to watch.

I was looking around for some Sally haters drawing because I want to know why people hate Sally other than that she's naked (which makes no sense as to why they have to use that frivolous excuse) and then I saw this art of yours. Seriously, I've to agree with you. Why do have to argue over it?
Personally, I prefer Sonally but Sonamy seems cute so hence the neutral on both pairing...^^
But there are times when I think that Sonic is kind of....(in my opinion)...not that serious when it comes to love and relationship...

Yes, the whole argument is pointless in my opinion. And I hate it when people think if you like Sonally, you're automatically against Sonamy or vice versa. My prefence doesn't mean I hate someone elses.
And I hate it when people use Sally being naked as a reason to hate. Half the other character (most notible Sonic himself) run around in the nude and no one hate them for it, but Sally naked is wrong? Riiight.

Yes, I agree . . . haha, though usually, I end up royally bashing Amy because the people I encounter are royally bashing Sally, and so I toss insults back just to defend the character. Because really, the character most people bash isn't even Sally; it's just someone they made up to make Amy look even better.

Yes and a lot of the things people use to bash Sally are true for Amy as well. And yeah I don't see Sonic as liking Amy that way, but I can sort of see SonAmy as Sonic has shown SOME evidence of having felling for her in some versions (although these are few and far between).

ummm..... 1. if your talking about sonic chronicles and her "boyfriend" dexter. she admits much later in the game that dexter wasn't real and was just another way to make sonic jealous. 2- sonic has shown signs in the games that he does care alot about amy (SABK, sonic unleashed, sonic riders- zero gravity).

and also in a magizine sonic team did say that sonic does have feelings for amy but is too shy to admit it. yeah sure he gets freaked out when she mentions marriage. but that's because he's not interested in marriage yet. he's still a teenager! dating yes. but marriage is a no no!
