Yeah thats true lol but keep in mind "girls that like him", NOT "girls that he likes back". Technically, both Mina and Amy are ultimately one-way. And Mina is now with Ash (or Tails if we're going by MxYL). Therefore, for Archie:
Fiona = Scourge
Mina = Ash
Bunnie = Antoine
So that leaves Sally and Amy.
Sally= Sonic's best gal pal since forever (although depends on Archie vs. SatAM storyline for exactly how long, in which I prefer the SatAM). Nags a little too much in Sonic's opinion, but often times it's just teasing. Ultimately, whenever the two fight, it's about Sonic's recklessness and probability to get himself killed.
Amy= Obnoxious, obsessive fangirl who's been lovesick since; well; jeez, when she was introduced, by SEGA or Archie storyline. Whenever she and Sonic fight; well, let's see here… "AMY! OUT DOWN THAT HAMMER!"
Who do you think Sonic would prefer?
As for the others, outside of Archie:
Elise= GAG ME. SHE'S A HUMAN, HE'S A MOBIAN. EWW!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!
Sara= Wow, that counts? I mean, AGAIN with the human x Mobian?! REALLY PEOPLE?!
Tiara= Canceled. Doesn't really count.
Breezie= I'll ask you a question. Who counts AoStH? Who?! It's just… If people bash SatAM for being childish; then how does that even… *sighs*

Well, to be technical, no offense to sally sonic fans.

The Archie comics aren't official.... The only thing official sonic, Is SEGA of Japan. Which They do the video games. So only the characters that appear in the video games are official as well as the things that happen.  So necessarily, Sally, Mina; Bunnie, Fiona; Sara; and breezie aren't real characters. (I don't know who tiara is)

Now there's nothing wrong with liking a character or couple pairing from one of the comics or Cartoon shows. They're just not completely real.

I mean, my favorite character is Manic the Hedgehog but I know he's not a official character because he was made by Dic ( not the owner of sonic so can't make him a real character) and Not SEGA. He hasn't appeared in a video game.

Though I really wish he would....

Sally Acorn hasn't appeared in a official SEGA of Japan video Game so she's not real.
Archie Just asked permission to use sonic in his comics, and as long as he gives them a part of the money he earns from them he can keep them going.

The Official girls would be Amy, Blaze, Rouge, Cream, Marine and elise as well as Merlina and Sharah (I spelled that wrong I know I did) etc....

Sally has never appeared in a game as I have said.... Though on the extras of one game they did promote the Archie Comics. But, that's all that was it was just a thing to promote the comics. She hasn't appeared as a playable character and she hasn't appeared in the story line as well....

Now I used to think characters like Ray, Mighty, Fang , Bean and bark weren't but I learned that they appeared in games.... though I'm not sure about ray because he was only in the Sonic the hedgehog arcade game. Though I suppose that might count.

Though characters like, Bunnie, Antoine, rotor, sally etc. Only appear in the Comics or cartoons.

Although I see nothing wrong in supporting a character or couple from an unofficial comic or cartoon.

Now I've heard people say, "Sally is in a sonic game" Which is half true. She's in a Game yes, but a game made by a sonic-fan online. It's not a Real Game.... I've looked, it isn't.


Now for Couples in the Games:

Blaze is obviously meant to be with Silver.

Rouge is between Knuckles and Shadow. Though me personally, I like shadow X rouge and Knuckles X either shade or Tikal.

Cream is Most likely Tails.... Though they could switch it on us and make it Tails x Marine. Though I like Marine with Charmy.

Elise- Technically  at the end of sonic 06, when she's about to blow out iblis, it is said that "we will have never met" So sonic never met Elise as well as he had never met silver.

That's why Silver is re-introduced to sonic and co. in Sonic Rivals.

Now as for Amy,
In Sonic 06 It says Amy is Sonic's Long time love.
In sonic and the black knight they are about to go on a date when he's sucked into Arthurs time.
In Sonic Unleashed Xbox Ver. They are again about to go out.
and Finally, Disney Interviewed SEGA and asked about the couple Sonamy, SEGA answered and said that, Amy is in fact Sonic's love-interest but they can't be together-together because if sonic had a Gf or got married that would automatically make them have to end the game.... But if they ever did, we know who sonic would be with....

I just hope in the new series, Sonic Boom maybe they'll have some sonamy.

Also Amy isn't 8 and sonic 15....

In the Games which are the official stuff as I have said, she is 12 and he is 15, says so in sonic heroes, in the little book that is.... and 3 years difference isn't bad ya know....

So there is and was no magic ring of acorn....

Yes, Amy was a little over-zealous in the games, but she's calmed down a lot if you haven't noticed.... Plus the whole Sonamy thing is cute.

btw, hasn't anyone noticed that sonic can ran at the speed of sound and amy can't.

Yet when Amy chases Sonic, She only barely can't reach him. If he really wanted to get away, he'd be gone and She wouldn't have a chance of keeping up... Sonic slows down for her....

It's OK I can get too passionate about stuff too. But, for the sake of the conversation…
Technically, SEGA and Archie just have two separate views on the storyline. I personally believe that the SEGA storyline is an alternate universe. In the SEGA universe (AKA Another Time, Another Place), Amy is 12 and Sonic is 15. In the Archie universe (AKA Mobius Prime), Amy is 11 but physically 17, and Sonic has lived for 16 years but by the planet's standards he's 17 (Tossed into space era). Of course, with the reset in the Sonic Comics currently because of Penders' copy write *enter expletive here*, Amy is now physically 12 with no Ring of Acorns, and Sonic is now 15, because they're making it a little more like SEGA I suppose. As for the slowing down for Amy, that usually happens in the games, which I might point out can be very unrealistic in those kinds of matters. Sorry if I haven't countered all of your facts, but I'm lazy. XD

A. Yeah, she kind of is, though at the time I think they were using her as a replacement Amy.
B. I included Breezy because I wanted all the characters who have been a love interest for Sonic. Seeing as he was in love with her in Lovesick Sonic, that counted in my mind. Plus I wanted a character from each series/time period. Amy is for the games and Sonic X, Sally is from SatAM and the Archie comics, Mina is for the comics, Sara is the OVA, Tiara is the classic games, Elise is the new games, and Breezy is AoStH.
