Edit: Couldn't risk it, so I had to replace the origanal with some art base on the game's opening, which still looks pretty good in my opinion. Sorry to everyone who liked the origanal, but I'll be posting it up again after the contest is over. Thanks
This is my entry to Sega's Sonic and the Black Knight contest to draw a scene from your favorite Sonic game. So I went with posibly my favorite Sonic game of all time, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I work really hard on this an I'm quit proud of it. It's just about the best retro-Sonic art I've ever done and some of my best work with color pencils. I dout I'll win, but there's always hope I will. And even if I don't, this is still a cool pic to me.

i have never played the second of the sonic game but i did play the first but awesome green hill zone and you work should win cause you work really hard it almost look like i am playing it on watching it in real life

well before you take it down keep a record of when you first posted it on da because so people might hold it against you or art thieves might steal your work and post it after you take it down and before you reposted it i doubt that will happen but then again it might who knows but just letting you know cause it better to be safe then sorry i hope that might be helpful but i hope that doesn't scare you (art thieves are unpredictable and almost everywhere)

You do know that if you publish your entry to the internet it has the possibilty of being disqualified right? It's in the Rules & Regulations of the Sonic & the Black Night fan art contest.
But otherwise, I think its a great piece of art. It's got a great 3D angle to it, good coloring, shading, nice little details as well.

As far as I can tell, it should be okay as long as its mine although I might need to reread the rules and regulations. I also might try putting in some water marks or something similar if that will help.
