Just barely squeezing out one more entry into 's Extras contest.I originally wasn't thinking about doing another one, but then I started looking through screencaps of Hercules and just fell in love with the character designs. I wanted to do a full pantheon, but there was no way I'd be able to finish in time. Maybe I'll do that some other time.
For this one, I wanted to go with a very obscure one. Nike is barely even in the movie, only visible for split second at the beginning in a pan of all the gods and goddesses. Even then, she so far in the background that you can hardly see her. I tried to keep her as close to what can be seen as possible, but I took a few liberties as well. And I put a certain sports wear company's logo on her sandals, just for giggles.

So beautiful! I always have a soft spot for kicka** goddesses (you know, the strong ones like Athena and Nike, not just pretty like Aphrodite) so this catches my eyes. The coloring and shading are great! The pose looks so fitting to her. It just looks like a screenshot out of the Hercules movie.

This is really nice! (and well spotted! She was way in the background!) For some reason my brain keeps thinking that there is a rainbow in this picture where the ribbons are when there clearly isn't. Funny how the brain works sometimes.

I probably wouldn't have noticed her either had I not found a screencap at just the right moment. It's a real "blink or you'll miss it" appearance.
