Andre found himself in the Boiling Isles. He had no idea how he got there and no idea how to leave. It would be dangerous to explore the place, but he felt it was more dangerous to stay where he was. Reluctantly he began looking around for anything that might get him out of there.

In his haste to find a way to leave, Andre was not watching where he was glowing and stepped on a magical rune. His entire body began glowing with an eerie light. He held his hands up to his face in disbelief. They were transforming. His entire body was transforming.

All masculine features on his face and body disappeared and were replaced with feminine ones. Breasts grew on him as his body developed in the way an adolescent female would. His genitals changed leaving him, or her, completely female. Her ears became pointed letting her know she was no longer a human being. She had become something else.

As her mind changed into something more suitable for her new body, she became aware that she was a young girl named Amity Blight. She knew a great deal about magic and became aware of the purpose of the rune she had just stepped on. Memories beyond her current physical age came to her so she knew the process was not yet complete. More changes were coming.

Amity grew taller. Her face showed signs of adulthood while her body became more developed.

Recalling recent events, Amity knew a powerful magical being had overwhelmed her and her friends. In desperation, she had created a magical rune in order to hide. She would not reappear until someone stepped on the rune. By that time, the crisis would hopefully be over.

Amity wondered how long she had been away, what happened to the powerful magical being she had fled from, and more importantly where happened to her friends and other acquaintances. She had her work cut out for her. The first thing she needed to do was explore the area around her in the hope of obtaining clues about her current situation.
