This is the origin of the sorority. Knowing Rose can not be both guilty and innocent, I tried to show her complexity. How much was her own mind altered by the spell?

Once there was a fraternity. It was known for its drunkenness, hazing, and general bad behavior. Many felt the school should take action against them but they never did. The families of the fraternity members made large donations to the college so it looked like nothing would happen. That was until Ralph became their new pledge.

Ralph was a blond nerd who belonged to a powerful magical family. He would frequently change his look but he kept his natural look most of the time because he did not want to draw unwanted attention from other magical beings. At the moment it was the non magical beings that he really needed to worry about.

The boys in the fraternity quickly realized Ralph was not confident about his gender. They kept him as a pledge not because they wanted him to join his fraternity but because they wanted to degrade him. In order to join the fraternity, supposedly, he had to dress up like a nightclub singer and sing a provocative song. It was not the type of woman Ralph wanted to be, but he did it because he thought he would be able to join.

Once Ralph finished his song, he was told he would have to come back and do something else that would be determined later. Ralph was not stupid. He knew he was being used, but he showed up anyway just in case he was wrong. He showed up with a magic wand and a lump of coal.

When Ralph asked what he needed to do, he was told he had to break into the school gym and steal some equipment. He was not going to do it. He knew if he was caught, they would deny it all. His temper rose. Sweat fell down his forehead as the pressure grew inside him.

Ralph clutched his magic wand. The more he said he did not want to do it, the more they insisted that he do it. Ralph prepared to cast a spell. If they liked nightclub singers so much, he would turn the entire place into a sorority. Then they could sing in nightclubs to their heart's content.

Due to a combination of ethics and knowing he would get in trouble with his own people, Ralph held back. However, it was getting harder and harder to do. As he clutched his wand with one hand and the lump of coal with the other his temper rose beyond his ability to control. There was a brilliant flash of light as the spell Ralph was considering accidently went off.

All members of the fraternity and Ralph himself became trapped by the spell. The piece of coal became a diamond, the boys became girls, the fraternity became a sorority and Ralph became Rose. Rose panicked. She did not want to face the wrath of her people but the damage had already been done.

Quickly Rose found all the members of her new sorority and cast a spell on them to make them forget everything that had happened. The sorority, which became known as just the sorority, was not ideal but it would have to do. She would have to make changes and make the sorority a better place to be. Despite being just a freshman, she decided to age herself and become their president. None of them were fit to lead the sorority.

No freshmen had joined so the only freshman to fall victim to Rose's spell was Rose herself. That gave her an idea. She would find her own pledges made up of genetic females and transformed males. They would vote on who got to stay and who had to leave. No one would be immune to the vote, not even herself. Step by step they would make the sorority a better place.
