A local man explored the enchanted forest. Being a local, with all the stories he heard about that place, he should have avoided it. Instead he ignored his better judgement and looked around just to see what he could find. He was foolishly curious. While examining the trees, he did not watch the ground directly below him and stepped on a snake.

The snake bit him. The man dropped to the ground wincing in pain. He rubbed the two bite marks on his leg where the bite had penetrated his skin. Despite the bite marks being small, the pain was intense. As his vision blurred, he searched for the snake that had bit him, but it had already fled. It was as if the snake had human level intelligence.

Next the changes began. His bottom half changed into a snake while his top half changed into a woman. Surprisingly, neither of those changes got his attention. What did get his attention was how his pants changed into a dress so his, or her, snake tail could fit underneath. She wondered how her clothing had changed along with everything else. Then she remembered it was an enchanted forest.

It was an enchanted forest and she was a part of it. She slithered off and prepared to victimize unsuspecting travelers. Most of them would be from elsewhere and unaware of what they were entering but a few of them would be locals who were foolishly curious, just like she used to be.
