Furby, an overweight college freshman, showed up at the party hosted by the sorority. He heard the rumors but did not believe them. As soon as he got there, he helped himself to the snacks.

Isabelle noticed him and invited him on a tour of the sorority house. She was a model who had already appeared on the cover of several magazines. Furby was glad to get the attention of any girl, especially one with the looks and reputation Isabelle had. He gladly agreed to go on a tour with her.

Isabelle showed Furby the usual rooms, then the not so usual rooms, and then a room with a model runway in it. Furby wondered how such a large room was able to fit inside the sorority house. Isabelle walked down the runway showing Furby how to do it. She pointed out various types of poses and walking styles.

First she made the movements herself. Then she waited for Furby to copy her. He followed the movements as best he could but he had trouble just keeping his balance. She encouraged him to try again. Over time, Furby could feel the pounds melting away. His clothing also seemed to melt away.

Fern found herself in a red dress and high heels. She did not remember putting on such an outfit but she went through the motions anyway. She was not as experienced a model as Isabelle and was glad she was there to give her a few tips and pointers.

This did not mean Fern had no moves of her own. She could even teach Isabelle a thing or two about walking on the runway. Most of the poses Isaelle did were for magazines so she did not have to stay in motion. Fern, on the other hand, worked as a clothing model. She was still new at it but she felt like she had a bright future ahead of her.

After their exhausting practice photo session, Fern and Isabelle return to the snacks. Isabelle selectively nibbled on some of the snacks. Fern on the other hand decided to pass on the snacks. She needed to make sure she would be able to fit into the clothes she was modelling. It was the price she had to pay for being a model.

While Fern was looking at some fashion magazines, the sorority girls went away. A short time later they returned. They told Fern she had been accepted into the sorority. Fern was overjoyed. This and being a model were the two things she wanted and she had succeeded at both of them.
