Dennis heard one of his friends was throwing a Halloween party and many of his classmates would be attending. He did not have a good costume for the party so he went into a brand new costume shop hoping to find one. A woman in a witch outfit was there to greet him. The way she acted made him wonder if it really was a costume.

"I am looking for a sensational Halloween costume!" Dennis declared.

"Follow me!" she commanded. "I think I have just what you need."

To his surprise, instead of selecting a costume for him, she picked up a box from a nearby shelf. She handed it to him. Dennis could see it was a music box. When he tried to open it, he discovered it was locked.

"It is not for here," the woman explained. "It is for your party. Open it at the party just before you go inside and when you go inside and you will have a sensational costume. Oh yes, one more thing! Try not to destroy the place. Fixing it will require too much work."

Dennis purchased the box and the key for it. He was convinced the box would indeed provide him with a sensational costume even though there was no logical reason for him to think that. He left the box and the key in his room until it was time for the party.

After driving over to the party's location, Dennis got out of the car and unlocked the box. A surge of red light came out of the box going all the way up to the sky. Dennis was caught in the surge. He started glowing and pulsing with energy.

Doris realized this was her body and she was the one in control. The other name, though not forgotten, was so insignificant it might as well have been. Her eyes and hair turned red, her body became female, and her clothing turned into a pink shirt, black dress, and matching black heels.

Doris was no longer recognizable but the changes were not yet done. Horns grew out of her head, her breasts grew some more, and her feminine curves became more distinctive. She felt like she was indeed sensational and all eyes would be on her as soon as they saw her. The pulsing red glow disappeared from sight but she felt like the glow was still inside her.

The music box started to play. Although Doris did not know the song, it had a calming effect on her. She remembered the woman at the costume shop saying not to destroy the place. She decided to take the music box with her just in case she needed it.

All eyes were indeed on Doris before she even opened the door. During her time at the party, whenever she got angry or felt overly ambitious, she would open the music box and let the music calm her. She spent most of her time dancing because she did not grow tired like the others did.

Everything had gone that way Doris had intended except for one thing. Nobody there recognized her. She did not even recognize herself. Considering her increasing desire to take control of everything, she wondered if she even wanted to recognize herself.
