As usual, the sorority hosted the party they had at the beginning of every year. Silas was the first to arrive. During his short time in college, he had not talked to many people so he had not heard the rumors. He was looking forward to attending his first college party.

Silas thought he was slightly early but it turned out he was right on time. He turned the door knob and found it to be unlocked. It was dark inside which was surprising because it was still light outside and they had windows. Ignoring the implausibility of the whole situation, he stepped inside. The door slammed shut behind him.

He went back to the door and found it to be locked. Knowing it was a sorority house where weird things probably happened all the time, he was more confused than worried. The only way left to him was forward so that was where he would go. He placed his hands out in front of him and made his way through the darkness.

"Is anybody here?" he called out.

"Surprise!" yelled all the sorority sisters at once.

They turned on the light. Numerous gifts were placed in front of the transforming person in front of them. Savannah, formerly Silas, was in shock. None of the things she had just experienced could happen and yet they did happen. She tried to convince herself it was just a dream even though she knew that was not the case.

Savannah opened her first gift and found a new dress. The dress instantly appeared on her. Her old clothes disappeared. The next present contained new shoes. As with the dress, her new shoes appeared and her feet and her old shoes disappeared.

The other presents contained more feminine items. A ribbon which appeared in her hair, a makeup kit causing makeup to appear on her face, and more dresses which she would save for later. With each present she opened, her life as Silas became harder and harder to remember. It did not bother her because she did not even realize she had forgotten. New memories of her life as Savannah had replaced them.

Soon even those memories changed. Savannah remembered receiving her gifts but did not remember it happening at the sorority house just minutes ago. She recalled receiving some of her gifts on her birthday, some of them on Christmas, and some of them when she graduated from high school.

Savannah was delighted when they told her she had been accepted into the sorority. They even agreed to help her carry her belongings upstairs to her new room. The party had just started and already the sorority had their first new member.
