Description A sharp hiss drew Mayko’s attention behind her, sweeping her walking stick out in a wide ark expecting to connect with whatever had make the noise. Instead her rod found only air.

Yet, there was unmistakably something, no, someone out there. She could feel it, the slight vibrations through the deck, the sound of what soft footsteps behind her. Drawing herself up she listened intently trying to pin the elusive noise.

‘Who’s there?’ She called out again. ‘This is not funny!’

In response something hard closed around her shoulders, and all she could do was scream.

Yes, they are nothing but trouble. One of the little ones is an obsessive buster. It loves to burrow into anything just to burst out of it, sofas, pies, the glove box - that last one only happened once as Nera nearly had a heart attack.
