"I'm gonna rip your ears off! Do you hear me Bunny! Your Ears!"Amenii could hear him crashing through the darkness just around the corner. He had positioned himself between her and the only exit, and it was only a matter of time before he flushed her out.
"I can smell you..." His voice was acid, eating into her composure. It was all she could do to check the urge to run in a blind panic. An explosion across the room showered the floor with wooden splinters as a crate hit the far wall. "You're gonna end baddy Bunny, I'm gonna twist you head off...like a bottle cap."
That imagery, seared itself into her mind with a little more force that she cared for, it was almost enough to make her bolt.
"You can't hide forever...Little Bunny."
He was close now, just on the other side. She could see his claws digging into the wall just above her head. Closing her eyes, she braced herself, it was now or never.

She followed in Judy's footsteps, changed her major, and worked her way thought the academy. She was only on duty for several months before the Accident though, and currently is non-active.

That's a bit of long story, in a shorter version though: Following her relationship with Nera, the incident with the Nighthowlers took place, a effects were not just felt in Zootopia, but across the country. Fear groups and anti-predator movements put a lot of strain on both her and Nera.
Even after the case was solved, a lot of misgivings still lingered. Amenii wanted to try and make a difference.

that's one i never got, Stu the one most scared of predators, foxes the most, at the time when he shored be most scared of predators, took a predator as a partner, that never made sense to me, wouldn't he be more scared of them not less
