It's one of those cheesy animal Disney movies. It actually beat The Lion King as being the first Disney to use Hakuna Matata in it...
The whole premise is about a family from LA moves to Kenya (I forget the reason), and their two teenage kids find an orphaned cheetah cub whose mother had been killed by poachers. They adopt her, and train her.
In true Disney fashion, the poachers that killed the cheetah's mother see the trained cheetah as a gold mine, kidnap the cheetah with the intentions if racing her against greyhounds.
