Description I'm fairly positive you'd never find a mouse sitting like this, but he was just too cute not to ink and color!


Based on one of my daily sketches from last month.

I'm obviously experimenting with making more detailed fur.

Expect more little things like this in the coming weeks - they make for better practice IMO and are really quick to finish.

Wow, this is looking more and more detailed than your older stuff. Love the fur detail and some of the shading. Looks 3 dimensional, almost! Great work, keep it up

Thanks! Yeah, looking back over my old stuff, I think thinner, more detailed lineart is definitely the way for me to go.

Shading is getting really easy now... this took only 3 hours to color + shade completely! (and I could probably do it a lot more efficiently than that if I didn't waste so much time) Lineart took longer, but mostly because I redid the fur detail 3 times to figure out how to make it look good.

That's so awesome It takes me like 5-7 hours to finish my drawings. I need to be a little less perfectionist and see how my art will look if I just spend an hour on it. (maybe that could be a project!) Lineart is always the hardest, haha.
