Badge request for CheshireKitten (FA / AZFurs)This badge shows Siri Starlight, a StarKeeper. StarKeepers are guardian-angel-like creatures that can sometimes fall from their star-keeping duties in the sky on shooting stars. If a StarKeeper falls to a planet with an atmosphere, it becomes trapped there, and will choose a host soul to look after and care for for the rest of its existence. Once that soul passes, the StarKeeper will absorb the soul's energy into the star-shaped jewel on its forehead, which allows it to once again leave the atmosphere and release the soul as a new star.

Thanks! I actually colored the eyes in before anything else because I wanted to make extra sure they would look all glowey and pretty.
Lol.. I've learned to rely on SAI to make the lines nice and smooth for me - it has a wonderful line-smoother... and working at 400 DPI (4x as big) helps, too, 'cause I can be super messy and it doesn't even matter once it's reduced. I think the character inking only took 2.5 hours this time, which is really good for me!

Wow! That is pretty good time, I wish I could use SAI on my computer, I've heard it's amazing! But I have a Mac, so no luck!

[link] <-- Does this help? It tells you how SAI can be set up on a Mac, though I guess you'll still need a copy of Windows to run within the virtual machine, so it's up to you. IMHO it'd totally be worth it as long as it doesn't have any weird performance problems - I've been using Photoshop since forever and SAI is so much more awesome in a lot of ways! (i.e. it cut my inking time in HALF, I kid you not! It's also generally easier to paint with.)
