Sculpted polymer clay (Sculpey Primo) on Applejack bait. Americana craft acrylics sealed with matte Mod-Podge and clear nail polish in places.

The glasses are just wire and the screwdriver is just a little clay. I have really really good eyesight. Its a blessing and a curse, really.

There's several good tutorials out there for prepping a pony for customizing. Basically you pull off the head and yank the hair out from the inside. And yes, I re-built the muzzle with Sculpey clay.

Sorry! I meant in this context they mean the same thing. I have no idea why people call the base pony toy a bait pony. Its just the terminology I've seen used elsewhere. I'll have to look into how that came about cause I'm genuinely curious now.

Says here that it's a term used to describe a pony that's messed up and needs a full rehair/repaint. So it seems I wasn't using that term correctly!

Hahahahaa thank you! The little details are kindof my schtick. I do miniatures (like dollhouse stuff, even though I HATE dolls, ironically...I sell most of it) and that's really honed my skills with the fine details.
