Description The 1924 pattern GRCKA uniform has seen considerable use, not to the surprise of anyone familiar with the Confederated government's fondness for standardized patterns and designs. Thus its police force maintains a very militarized appearance altogether, for better or worse, as the majority of their equipment is essentially GRCKA standardfare. However, small variances do exist, allowing a distinct visual difference between military personnel and those of the police force.

On the left is a standard "beat" police uniform, comprising at the core of the GRCKA field coat matched with dress pants and cap. This particular example may additionally be deployed on motorcycle patrol, given the long gloves. Distinguishing it from the very similar military uniform are the blue and white striping on the shoulders and around the cap. Rank, as with military uniforms, is distinguished by collar markings. The large brass badge features the officer's name beneath the scales-of-justice motif, and his ID number above it; his ID number is furthermore repeated on his cap.

On the right is a police investigator in civilian attire, who has pinned his badge to the exterior of his jacket. Investigators are permitted to wear civil dress on duty, provided that identifying markings are properly affixed (presuming of course they are not undercover). This has been achieved here through the badge, as well as the police armband on his left arm. Additionally he has re-iterated the blue-white motif through a tie, though this is not an official identifying mark. On his right lapel, the diamond pin of a raven's head against a red background identifies the wearer as a member of the Office for Domestic and International Intelligence Networks, or ODIIN, which is the collaborative intelligence agency for the Confederated Kingdoms. ODIIN members provide detailed information abroad and at home on political and criminal activities, and are present in all branches of the military and civil agencies.

Thanks! I was thinking about the hard-boiled detective look of film noir actors and I realized they basically all look like they haven't eaten enough, slept enough, or drank too much. Not quite sure which truths are present there for this guy, but he certainly looks like that type.
