Blaze is challenged by a bachelor stallion! He accepts the challenge, and ends up winning a new mare in the process.

The commotion attracts the attention of Santana , Ripley , Rackham , and little Lottie . The group had been escorting Santana around the valley in search for a herd. Rackham thinks this one will do, while Ripley seems to take interest in the smell of mares in season. Will the boys cause chaos? Or simply stop here and let Santana go?

Losi , from atop a hill top, watches the group of four strangers approach. She prepares to address them while Blaze fights off his challenger.

The rest of the mares group together as they await the outcome of the events. They have new foals to protect.

Luna is injured in a mudslide.
