Here's a new batch of 5 placoderms descended from bothriolepis, collected from 5 different versions of Earth during the Permian era, removed from their natural habitats for your viewing pleasure!

1- Pincersnake
This bizarre placoderm has adapted its armored arms as grasping horizontal jaws. They no longer use them for locomotion and therefore they count as apods even if they are ancestrally bipods. They kill prey by injecting it with digestive acid until its insides melt. For that purpose the actual jaw has been modified into a specialized stabbing/drinking apparatus.

2- Hopping bipod
A small, omnivorous animal that hops on its arms. Despite their somewhat bird-like appearance they actually taste like shit. The red color of the skin is because of carotenes acquired from their food. It's a signal of fitness.

3- Mirumsaurus
The largest tripodal terrestrial placoderm found to date.

4- Buff strangler
A very swole tetrapod placoderm, they use their powerful arms to bludgeon prey into submission before strangling it to death.

5- Spiny warduck
A very rare pentapod form (this number of legs is found only once for every 20 timelines with fully-terrestrial placoderms!), this amazing armored critter has adapted its tail into a jumping leg to evade the extremely dangerous predators found in its native dimension.
