Been a short while since i've posted anything, so i'll start the year with this. a couple mistakes here and there, especially with perspective, but i still wanted to make it work regardless.

I've decided to do a small series of pics revisiting old mecha ideas i drew or thought up back when i was still in high school. this one's of a panzer frame called 'Iron Clad'. it's piloted by a young engineer/techy named Batch (the education system is based around a caste/career driven one, so students specialize at a young age). his sister Sari calls it the 'Bumbling Bee', much to his chagrin.

Btw, the circular things that look like nipples are actually its eyes - the top part that looks like the head is a separate unit called RAI (Remote Ascendant Intelligence) that aids the pilot with controlling the panzer frame. it's like the relationship between R2D2 and an X-Wing.
