Description
Because I do, and really don't understand why people are complaining so much, HTML is easy once you know the basics. Dreamwave, worked with it, notepad is much easier!If you agree with me, reply!

I agree! HTML is fantastically easy! CSS is a bit harder, but it too is easy.
I use to make a few websites, but then my host decided it would only allow its premade templates instead of letting us use our own code and layouts. >.<

Once I start taking college classes in web development, they'll probably make me buy dreamweaver, but to be brutally honest it feels like a waste of money. :/

I use Programmers Notepad :3 kinda like the notepad for...programmers XD I mainly like it because it has syntax highlighting, which helps me out because I'm a fumble fingers when it comes to typing and I'll sometimes omit letters :'D got my start on Notepad tho!

I don't use notepad... but I do use the mac equivalent TextEdit~

I code from scratch, so I can easily use notepad (and have done it), so I support this. I just use Dreamweaver for the color coding and the automatic closing of open codes.

I use Notepad sometimes, but when my brother sees it he laughs at me, so I open Dreamwaver too XD The only advantage on Dreamwaver is that it tells you if there are any problems with the browser.

I totally agree with you! It's so much easier to work with HTML... it was kinda hard for me to "learn" Dreamweaver :V the first class I wanted to open my loyal Note Pad but what wasn't the idea haha

I don't have much need for HTML anymore- I don't go on many sites that support HTML and the ones that do either change layouts too often or screw up the codes- but I used to code like there was no tomorrow.
By the way- this was when I was 10 and using Neopets.

I agree! Anyone worth their salt codes their website(s) in Notepad. If you can't, don't dare call yourself a web developer.

Actually, as I work from a Mac I use the Apple equivalent TextEdit, but the concept remains the same: Raw HTML is the best!

You can't even do alot of the stuff you want to in Dreamweaver.. And it's SO complicated!!

I agree with you to an extend...I make all of my websites with UltraEdit32, which doesn't have much more features than Notepad.

html is very easy but is easier the programs like frontpage.

Yay for notepad. I don't see the point in wasting money to buy something to make the HTML and CSS for you when you can learn to write it yourself in notepad at no cost. It makes me feel good writing it myself.
