the bridge in the magic forest, oil on canvas, 80x80 cm, june 2013When I look at the painting now one week after I finished it, I see so many flaws and mistakes. Some of them are caused by the fact, that I had to make a break of a week between painting sessions, and painting over dried oil color sucks, atleast with the technique I was going for.
I still like this one quite a bit, I think it is one of my best paintings. Took me about 30 hours to complete, including all the preparation/studies I did for it.

I'm not very good at critiques, but I'll try anyway.
I think the work would be more unified if you incorporated the same dot-like strokes present in the majority of the landscape into the bridge as well.
