Mark of the Fae - An Exercise in Futility 5-5

These images are presented in order of file creation date-not chronological order.

The last of the "friends" images were drawn between February-April, 2017, but the last three in the sequence above weren't colored until September, 2017. In April, I made one last ditch effort to complete the sequence by simplifying it (essentially the last panel of row 1 and most of the 3rd row) but by May, 2017, I'd lost interest in making this thing work. I had major surgery in July and didn't even to do any art until August. Still, I didn't want to leave them uncolored, and saved all the images with wings in them for last since they take so much time... finishing them all during September.

If there's a story in these images, I don't know what it is. I've hopelessly mangled the skeleton(s) and I'm not much interested in digging for any more bones. If anyone has any suggestions, I'll entertain them, but for now I'm done with 'Mark of the Fae'.

Oh, and panels 9 & 16 are my little homage to this comic by CDRudd . I just loved that reaction in panel 7. Well done, sir!
