Started this months and months and months ago, finally got around to finishing it up. Somewhere between a quick painting and a full illustration, since I used it mostly as a warmup/cooldown painting during client work (which I can't yet show you).Sorry for being inactive lately, there will be SO much more soon!
EDIT: bumped the size up a bit, because I want you to see the conquistador because he is a total baller.

Wonderful work, I really like the range of greens you've used. It adds a very adventurous, almost 'Indiana Jones'-style atmosphere of exploration and discovery to the work. Great job on the depth of field adjustments in the foreground!

Thanks! I was making a conscious effort to push the colours. Believe it or not, a couple years ago I was terrified of colour and couldn't do anything other than greyscale or monochrome
