Rules: Play before you put. Only games that I have played will be on this list. And this is based off of my opinion. So if your favorite game is not on this list of if a game that you hate is on the list, please do not take it the wrong way.
WARNING: Really long script ahead! If you do not want to read the whole description or any of it at all, then turn away now if you are not into such material. I will be getting into depth for all 10 entries and not be hiding anything here. You have been warned.
10. Metroid Other M- I do like this game! I don't like the rediculous critizism that it got from X-Play! Sure, like any game it has its flaws such as Adam not allowing you to use your equipment when you REALLY need it! But it is just a different way of saying "You gotta get to this point of the game in order to use it." Which has been done with all the scavenger hunts of all the other Metroid games! Great story, great visuals, fun gameplay with both 3rd person and 1st person perspectives with automatic aiming, it is my favorite in the Metroid series. And after Metroid Fusion, I didn't think that would be possible. And no, I'm not going to complain about the Ridley scene like everybody else did.
9. Jet Set Radio Future- Look at my icon and tell me you didn't see this coming atleast SOMEWHERE on the list with a straight face. Yup. The music is funk at it's very BEST! The gameplay was a lot of fun to get into, the characters were cool, and the cellshaded visuals were stunning! I loved pulling off those wicked tricks and even customizing my own graffiti. And for a game like that to be this low on the list, you know we are going to have quite a few good ones!
8. TRON and TRON Evolution- I couldn't decide between the first and the latest TRON games. They both are alot of fun, they tie in with the first and second movies very well, and they both have those cool light-cycle minigames! Definitely a couple of winners! I would've put TRON 2.0 Killer App. in the mix, but I never played it sadly.....
7. Soul Calibur IV- One of the best fighters I've ever played! I love it for it's gameplay that is so fluent that you figure it out quickly and you see the replay value in it aswell! It's cast of characters and it's option for you to create up to 50 of your own, they are a great contribution! I'm not even talking about the Star Wars cast either. Not that big of a Star Wars guy. Sorry. And the online play for it. Oh, boy. It plays like a charm for me!
6. Tekken 6- Like Soul Calibur IV, it's combat gameplay is superbly fluent. However, this is one game that makes you think like the fighter you are playing as! I really like that! I got started on my boxing training thanks to playing the character, Steve Fox! The music may not be as memorable as Tekken 5, but still has some great ones such as Anger of the Earth with the feel of the world fighting back and making a mess of everything while you fight your opponent one on one, Fallen Colony with it's upbeat soundtrack and incredible backdrop, but I especially love the Hidden Retreat stage! The one with the field of lambs and the yodeling. I don't know why but I really liked that one.
5. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger- I only put this there because I haven't played Continuum Shift or Continuum Shift II yet, but if they are anything like the first one, then they must be the best fighters out there! This is what I call an impressive fighting game! The anime style is well projected, and I love anime so what's that tell ya? The characters are all very unique and well developed! There are NO CLONES! Every one of them have their own fighting styles and moves, so you really have to learn everyone to get the full feel of the game! You can play as Bang Shishigami and play like a boss as him, but then you switch to Carl Clover and not know a thing of what to do. And I really like how the developers did that. And the music. BEST FIGHTING GAME MUSIC EVER!!!!! Reppuu, Motor Head, Catus Carnival, Black Onslaught, Marionette Purple, AWAKENING THE CHAOS!!!!! Those are some of the best themes I have ever heard in a fighting game! No joke!
4. Space Harrier- Welcome to the Fantasy Zone! GET READY!!!Now as far as arcade classics go, I can not say no to a good game of Space Harrier! When I was a kid, I spent quarter after quarter to see how far I could go! Man, was I stupid to do that when I found out that there was a home console version. Anyway, the theme is very memorable, the gameplay is chaotic, fast paced, and a lot of fun, and the backgrounds of all 18 levels are very colorful and interestingly done. I've also seen it in a game called Bayonetta in one stage where the entire level is a tribute to Space Harrier. I haven't played Bayonetta yet, but I'm really considering it. But back to Space Harrier, flying and shooting is always fun whether it's this game, Starfox, or any other! But this game has a fine charm to it that makes you realize that this game is not realistic in the slightest, but it doesn't have to be in order to be a great game!
3. ( ) *Ahem* DEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAD RIIIIIISIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!- I used to not be into Zombie Games, but thanks to good old Dead Rising, my eyes have been opened to what to do in a Zombie Apocalypse! Grab a camera, go to a large mall, grab some weapons, food, and whatever else you can get your hands on, and raise some hell! Seriously, this is a Zombie Survival Game at it's finest! I love it's awesome metal soundtrack for the Psychopath bosses, it's fun gameplay, and it's sense of responsibility! Once you make a decision, you stick with it. If you die, you can either choose to go back to the beginning of the 72 hour cycle, or go back to where you first saved. And if you go back to the beginning, you keep all the Prestige Points you accumulated during your run! That's a rather interesting save system there. The end of each of your 72 Hour run throughts have multiple endings based on your actions with one as the actual ending that unlocks the final story. And who can say no to a game with multiple endings, right? It is pretty hard, but once you level up high enough, you can breeze through the game but not lose the feel of the fun of the game!
2. NiGHTS Journey of Dreams- WHAT?! NiGHTS ISN'T NUMBER 1?! HOW COULD YOU?! That's very simple, Number 1 may not be my favorite series. But it is my favorite game so far. Yes, I've noted that I am a huge fan of the NiGHTS series! Why did I choose NiGHTS Journey of Dreams rather than NiGHTS Into Dreams? Well, admittedly, I didn't get to play the first game because I never had a Sega Saturn or a Japanese PlayStation 2. But that is why NiD15 HAS TO WORK! If anyone is reading this, please go to [link] and hit the petition button quickly! Sorry about that. Anyways, this game has some of my favorite video game music of all time! From the battle with Reala, Wizeman, and especially the game's main theme, Dreams Dreams! I catch myself singing that almost everyday now! Weird, huh? The character, NiGHTS is very memorable herself. YES, I SAID HERSELF! I know she's genderless, but I call NiGHTS female, sorry. I keep getting off track. Memorable as in has a fun personality and keeps focused on what's important (Until she sees Octopaw.....) And ties together the two stories rather well. And like I said before, I love flying in video games! Being able to fly was an ability that I always wanted as a kid. Too bad humans can't really fly. But that's why fiction is as special as it is, am I right? Now, one thing I hate about the game that I always dread is that FREAKING BOMAMBA!!! I HATE HER! AAAAAAAACK!!!! SHE IS SO ANNOYING! Sorry about that. Anyway, the story doesn't make all that much sense at first until you look further into it, but does it really have to to be entertaining? I don't think so! The gameplay is fun even on foot, but as everyone else, I do love flying more. Now if only they could do something about those unskippable cutscenes.....
ScrewAttack: IT'S... NUMBER 1!!! Okami- This game..... is amazing beyond words! The story (Interesting), the characters (Funny/Lovable/Memorable), the bosses (Difficult and fun to fight), the music (Like love to your ears), the artstyle (Beauty in the eyes of the beholder), the gameplay (Legend of Zelda done right!)..... It's all excellent! This game has everything that I love in a game. An interesting story, Japanese settings, a great artstyle, references to mythology and even other Capcom games, an ability to control reality, wonderful music, and the fact that you are playing as a freaking Wolf! Wolves are my favorite animals in the world! It's combat system is well done, it's puzzles (With few exceptions) are fun and make you think! And like I said, the Okami series may not be my favorite like the NiGHTS series is, but Okami itself is my Absolute FAVORITE game of all time! Let's see how long it can hold that up! As Chuggaaconroy would put it "WADDYAMEAN I DID BADLY ON TIME!!!" (NO NOT THAT!) "I love the art direction of this game!"
I am the Soulwind Skater and DAMN YOU, IGN FOR PUTTING YOUR LOGO ON THE WII BOX COVER!!! KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!! [link]

Ah, I see. Kinda like my sister. Okay, what controller are you using? Please tell me your not using the Mindsight control. That's the one where you point at the TV to guide NiGHTS.

(Facepalms) You WERE using mindsight? No wonder! Use a gamecube controller or Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Mindsight is a terrible control scheme. Trust me, the game will become MUCH more playable and fun with the other controllers.
