“Cunning ambush units among the demon swarm. Gorgons slither about the outer radius of their hunting grounds using a serpentine lower half. Unlike other demons, the Gorgon rarely strikes their targets directly, instead serving a supportive purpose amongst the others.

One arm of the creature has been augmented with a built in beam cannon that freezes the entire nervous system of their target, utterly halting any motor functions. This dangerous power can leave even the greatest of holy knights vulnerable to the hungering swarms upon a successful shot. When a Gorgon is present, many of their metal kin will remain out of conflict until their target has been frozen in place and rendered easy prey.

Remember that the Gorgon is not an assault unit, and thus is very much vulnerable if their insidious tool were to be removed or destroyed. My Advice would be to salvage this technology and study the inner workings of it. To some extent, the power of the Gorgon could be reverse engineered to freeze the engines of active demons, if not briefly stun them.

If you heed this advice, it may be best to keep this and further recordings out of reach of the more faithful of churches for now. If not, then forget my words at your own risk.”
