You'd think there'd be more fan art by now. Am I the only one excited that in the 3rd trailer the rock points out that they each have three lives represented by tattoos on their wrists, which means they can kill her twice and still finish the story with her?  One of those deaths could very well be quicksand, and then maybe eaten by something, or fucked to death by a gorilla (doubtful, but I can dream).

In response to there not being more fan art, I agree. I've been talking about this movie, and Karen G in particular, with another artist on dA and she's interested in creating some Ruby Roundhouse peril art of her own. So that's at least one other.  

As for me, well, my 'art' style, or lack thereof, is dependent on source material. As more trailers and promo pics come out, I might be more inspired to do something to her...errr...with her.

I know it's been out for awhile but I just read about the three lives thing and Rock saying that every one of them "meets their maker" at some point. That means we HAVE to see something happen to her. What that is, I still don't know. Not that I want to see her die, but the three lives element leaves it open for some more serious peril and the jungle backdrop offers so many delicious opportunities.  

I know now there are a ton of non-erotic possibilities, but she plays the bookworm character so I'm hoping her demise is something more 'cerebral'--a slower developing predicament scenario like snake coils or quicksand or predatory vines or giant spider web/cocoon, instead of some act of incompetence or 'rage quit' grab at comic relief. 

There’s a scene in one of the trailers where a giant snake strikes out at her.  It’s a super quick flash of a scene.  We don’t see what happens.  In the trailer it doesn’t even make contact.  What probably happens is that the Rock’s character yanks the snake away and ties it in a knot, or Karen’s character roundhouse kicks it in the head.  Hey, the character’s name is Ruby Roundhouse and we saw her kicking a lot; it’s possible.  Until then, a guy can dream that it wraps her up, pinning her arms to her sides.  She struggles to get free while the snake slowly and measuredly layers more coils around her. The snake's intentions for her marked by drips falling from its distended jaws, landing on her bare shoulder before tracing its way down to her heaving bosom. She attempts to call for help, the coils squeeze and her cry of desperation becomes nothing more than a breathless grunt.

….or any other of a thousand perils in which she would be placed for our arousal.

Like you said, a guy can dream...

Yes that trailer got me fucking hyped, only downside is she's the action girl rather than a damsel so wouldn't fit so well having her getting stuck in quicksand/eaten etc.
