My first tutorial.'Resizing images for Deviantart'
This is for people with photoshop and dont know how to use it.
inspired by looking through many deviants work at fullview and wishing my screen was 32 foot wide.
Tell me what you think.

Thank you for this. Seriously. I'm just starting to learn how to use my Photoshop Elements 11, and I was getting really worried when I saw "full screen" was at about 9% zoom.

Im having the opposite problem. When I upload images on here they are way too SMALL. Im trying to adjust and resize but when I upload anything it says its too big. Can you help me??

I've got Photoshop Elements, which my sister uses much more than I do, but hopefully the tutorial will work for it too.

As far as I know Elements should be laid out all the same.
It's fairly basic tools.

Good one.. I recommend sharpening the image a little after resizing (10-20)... and it works the same in GIMP.

Wow, this was very helpful! I drew a picture, but then I was way too big. Now I know how to resize it.
Lol if I had added ',thanks to CPripper!' onto that last sentence, I would have sounded like a bad commercial. But really, thanks for putting this up. I was confused on how to actually do it properly.

Im glad it was helpful. I always got annoyed at looking at peoples digital photos that they posted. scrolling across 8 screens to see it. silly.

you should do one for the GIMP and photoshop elements. generally it's the people without photoshop that have the problem
