I'm living a little further east than that place now, but while I lived there, I just loved going out to this falls, as well as up to Old Stone Fort. I got to check out Rutledge Falls once or twice before I moved, and that place... Wow, just walk the stream and get past the lame people who think that tobacco smoke is natural in nature, and it's a pretty mystical place! ^_^

this is an absolutely fantastic image. I really like the composition and well saturated colors. Excellent work!

The log in the foreground adds a level of tension to an otherwise calm scene.
It's as if the log has trapped you, torturing you.
great job on the stitching as well.!

This is, by far, the better of the two. You are directed from the large tree at the top, down & around by the water, and leaving the picture at the larger centered rock.
Now, was that planned when you clicked the shutter?

I just got back last week from a 5 day waterfall hunt in the Cumberland Plateau section of west Tennessee. Had excellent conditions and good water-flow so I was able to capture a ton of waterfalls in the five days I spent there. I will be posting more from the trip soon.
I see you got a couple gems captured this Spring up in Kentucky
