Description
Upon the request of , I have brought to you all an Omniverse version of Shock Rock! Behold! Yet another electric alien to add to the roster! How many is that now? I wanna say somewhere around ten because, seriously, this is getting ridiculous at this point. And because I must do it . . . onto the facts!
Name: Shock Rock
Species: Fulmini
Home World: Fulmas
Powers/abilities: Being an energy being, Shock Rock can unleash devastating amounts of electricity from his body, most commonly the openings in the palms of his hands. This output is so immense, that he can overload and destroy any device or technology that uses electricity as a primary source of energy. But bringing his fingers or his hands together, he can also fire off balls of electricity.
Fulmini can also absorb large amounts of energy in order to increase their output. Some individuals have shown enough skill to actually shape this energy into crude weapons, such as boomerangs and maces.
Fulmini have enhanced strength, as Shock Rock was easily able to lift a car.
Thanks to his durable rock armor, Shock Rock has shown degrees of enhanced durability, such as being thrown through multiple buildings by Vilgax, beaten over the head with a cement truck, and surviving multiple explosions and only suffering from exhaustion. In addition, the armor absorbs a certain amount of the electricity that he subconsciously releases, preventing him from unintentionally hurting allies or innocent bystanders.
The species of moss that covers a Fulmini's back provides a limited amount of camouflage.
Weaknesses: Energy absorbing species, such as Conductoids, can render a Fulmini's attacks completely useless and in some cases, completely destroy them.
Digging capable species, such as Talpaedans, can drill through and destroy a Fulmini's supposedly indestructable rock armor.
Etymology: Shock Rock's name refers to his electrokinetic abilities and his protective rock armor.
Trivia: The species name is derived from "fulmine", the Italian word for lightning. It may also be derived from the word 'fulminate' which, in a literary sense, means to explode violently or flash like lightning.
Fulmas is an unstable planet that is just barely held together by electro-magnetic forces that is on the verge of collapsing, and this is due to the Fulmini's hubris and power-hungry behavior. Various warlords fought tireless over the planet's resources until they had eventually plundered and used it all up, rendering their planet virtually inhospitable. Now united under a single banner, they invade nearby star systems via wormhole and pillage the unwary planets of all their resources in order to save their own home world, leaving nothing but a lifeless, barren wasteland in their wake. They are so infamous throughout the galaxy that even the Incursean empire has been known to join forces with other empires just to hold them back on occasion (usually before immediately turning on them, making them tenuous allies at best).
Fulmini seem to lack any and all compassion for other life forms, or even a sense of moral. They view other species as nothing more than obstacles in their way and should one of their own fall in battle, their energy will be absorbed by their comrades without hesitation. They are so ruthless that certain individuals, if not the entire species, has been ordered to be shot on sight by the Plumbers should they be seen anywhere outside of their home system.
Because of their power-hungry behavior, Fulmini absolutely detest Conductoids, as they view them as oppressors and a threat to their very existence due to their power-absorbing capabilities. Other electrical species, such as Nosedeenians are seen as little more than food.
Edit: As one of my watchers was so kind to point out, apparently the Fulmini can't control the weather. Seeing as how I don't watch the Reboot and the articles on the official Ben 10 wiki (where I get any information I forget) involving the Reboot are very poorly kept, this information completely alluded me; apparently the entire thing spawned from some scheme involving Vilgax and the Weatherheads to trick Ben into giving up the Omnitrix? I dunno, but the proper adjustments have been made.
Disclaimer: I do not own Ben 10.
Ben 10 is owned by Man of Action and Cartoon Network.
I only own this interpretation of Shock Rock.
Do not use without my permission.

Excellent job. I personally would like to see the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien, or Derrick J. Wyatt style make a return, or a similar style.

That is quite ironic, considering how long an Adventure Time episode to make, in spite of its simplicity, whereas the 2016 Ben 10 Reboot is the more complex one.

I haven’t the foggiest idea. Maybe his rock parts become metal? Like, more refined or something?

I know that the Fulmini are ruthless to other life forms but I wonder do they have a natural predator?

Given how they've exhausted their resources to the point where they have to pillage and plunder other planets in order to sustain themselves, I highly doubt it. It's likely that they've pretty much destroyed their entire ecosystem and they, plus the species of moss that grows on them, are the only non-microscopic lifeforms on their planet.
They're basically what would happen if we humans stopped giving a damn about the environment, but decided to use any advanced technology we developed to steal from other planets/species rather than try and fix the problem.

I’ll admit, I don’t get why people hate Shock Rock. I don’t see him as an electric alien, I saw him more as a green lantern type. He could turn his hands into energy weapons, make energy constructs. it seemed like a power Ben never really had before.

I dunno, maybe it has something to do with the show in its entirety. Maybe it has something to do with Shock Rock not fitting what people think an electric alien should look like (and he is. He is literally an electric alien). It could be a bunch of other reasons that I don't know about. But for whatever reason, a good portion of the fanbase doesn't like Shock Rock.

If the gems from Steven Universe came in their path, how would the Fulmini handle them?

It doesn't matter who or what tries to stop them. If it stands in their way, the Fulmini will stop at nothing until they are removed, or die trying. And given their superior numbers, they might very well give the Crystal Gems (or any Gems, for that matter) a run for their money.

I also like to think that since the gems bodies are basically holograms made of light, the Fulmini would absorb their energy and collect their gemstones as trophies.

They probably would, if given the chance. And if the gemstones themselves provided some kind of resource that they could exploit, they would use it to. You have to remember that they are a species that, after succumbing to their own greed and hubris, waste absolutely nothing. Comrades that fall in battle are not given a burial - their remains are used to revitalize and power up those that are still standing. This, along with their wormhole technology that allows them to catch even the most heavily-protected planets off guard, is what makes them so dangerous.

Well, he's half-human, so he might be the key to beating them - physically. They Fulmini are a bit harder to talk to than the Gems.

Go with Feedback. Shock Rock and the Omni-Enhanced forms just show that Ben doesn’t deserve the Omnitrix he broke it - multiple times, I might add.
