Description As requested by  I reworked Heartseeker Arrow to be a little more simple, in terms of transformation a.k.a. less moving parts, and drew from Monster Hunter 3 for inspiration as suggested by the requester.

The shaft collapses into itself and the fletching wraps itself up so it wont get caught up when the lower shaft collapses into the upper shaft.  The upper shaft then collapses a bit into the arrow tip.  Halfway through the design process the arrow started to look like a spear/javelin so I started drawing inspiration from historical weapons and designs.  So this weapon could totally roll as a short spear if you wanted too, which could have its uses.

This took WAY longer than I am even proud to acknowledge but I had a system corruption a while back and well...Murphy's Law is a bitch ^.^'
Thankfully I didn't loose too much but this was one of the unfortunate losses.

NOTE TO REQUESTER:  I don't know how tall Velvet is exactly so I gestimated her to be around 5', probably shorter than that but I'll leave that up to you.  Like you wanted I made the arrowhead massive like MH3 but kept it reasonable (I figured those arrows to be around 8' guessing by the game art so not quite as large) and I simplified the design as much as I could.  And as always the name is left to your discretion, I couldn't come up with anything that clever :/

So as it flies through the air, it extends and will fly deeper into the enemy?

No, unlike Heartseeker where it buries itself into the target LongShot is just a really long arrow that collapses into a dagger.  Keeping it simple.

Hm...I really like this.  Still not quite what I was going for, but really cool, not to mention the fact that, well...that arrow be stylin'.

Even so, this seems rather fragile for what I was going for, but I have an idea.  I can use BOTH arrows.  The heartseeker arrows are for the especially deadly enemies that just won't die.  These arrows seem lightweight, and so could be used for very long-distance shots.  Then there might be a final design, made up by myself, that she will use for closer ranges and/or against enemies that just have tough hides that can't be penetrated by a normally-weighted arrow (which would render the heartseekers useless because they would have to stick into the hide first in order to work).

Sure man, go for it!  They were made for YOU after all, use them how you will, mix, match, combine, its all up to you now.  Sorry if it still isn't quite how you wanted them but I'm glad you like the end results.

Thanks for requesting me to work on the arrow designs, they were really fun and I enjoyed working on them.  Cheers man.

Hm...on second thought, I hadn't noticed the size of the arrow.  That thing's a lot bigger than it initially looked.  Maybe I WILL use it for what I intended. :3  Either way, if you felt up to it, I had one last design that may or may not need doing, as it's possible I would be able to do it myself due to its simplicity.  It's a special staff for my main character.  I'll let you know when I decide whether or not I need your help. XD
