Description
Top LeftYsmir Armaments 'Fafnir' Particle Rifle
Weapon Type: Charged Particle Beam Weapon
Usage: Suppressive Fire, EM Disruption
Description: The Fafnir Particle Rifle is a very powerful, modern particle rifle fielded around 100 AF (After Fallen Unity). It is designed to produce a pinpoint-accurate beam of directed charged particles at a long range. The weapon features an advanced condenser and is capable of causing severe electrical flash burns, even if the target is heavily armored. If the target is wearing armor designed to counteract thermo-electrical damage, it will be mitigated and dispersed, dealing less damage to the wearer. The Fafnir does overheat quickly, but if fired in short bursts is deadly in the right hands. The power core is located above the weapon, and requires that the shooter lower their weapon to reload the power core.
Weight: 9 kg
Core Duration: 36 seconds of fire
Output (J): 0.124 MJ per second (still working on how to measure power of charged particles accurately, if there are any physicists that view this, correct me please).
Range: 75 to 200 meters (Dependent on output settings)

Ysmir Armaments 'Svovel Oks' Incendiary Multiweapon
Weapon Type: Incendiary Disc Launcher and Flamethrower
Usage: Short Range Boarding Action
Description: Not uncommon to find, the Svovel Oks has been in production since the Angolian wars. It's a fairly popular model amongst pirates and mercenaries who are often facing defensive forces in enclosed spaces. The disc that the weapon fires is agitated to extreme levels while charging to fire, and as such becomes hyper-elastic, capable of ricocheting off walls and into defensive positions, igniting anything that it touches. The projectile is easily deflected by EM shielding, but if there are flammable substances nearby, watch out. The flamethrower attachment is a volatile chemical incendiary semi-fluid that upon contact with armor, cooks the flesh underneath. Armors with ceramic under-plating counteract this weapon quite well.
Weight: 8.6 kg, unloaded, 9.8 kg, loaded
Magazine Size: 12 discs
Fuel Tank Duration: 2 seconds
Rate of Fire: Semi-automatic/.5 second charge-up
Range: 25 Meters (Flamethrower) 50 meters (Disc Launcher)
Bottom Left
Ysmir Armaments 'Svartalfar' Needle Carbine
Weapon Type: Bullpup Needle Carbine
Usage: Armor Perforation
Description: The Svartalfar fires barbed flechettes with iridine crystal embedded tied to a timed electrical fuse that destabilizes the iridine crystal fragments inside. It is meant to blow apart armor. The Svartalfar carries a helical magazine above the barrel that houses a whole 40 of these nasty 'needles', and it is a very compact weapon. The needles are designed to be used in close ranges due to the arrow-like design, as they can be deflected by reactive EM shielding. The weapon can also be loaded with pulse needles designed to perforate shielding and deal tissue damage through penetration. The Svartalfar also comes standard with an over-barrel targeting computer which assists in leading shots.
Weight: 4.2 kg, loaded, 3.9 kg, unloaded
Magazine Size: 40
Rate of Fire: 850
Range: 75 to 125 meters (In optimal conditions) 38 meters (In suboptimal conditions)
Bottom Right
Ysmir Armaments 'Wodan' Assault Shotgun
Weapon Type: Specialized Assault Shotgun
Usage: Close-quarters breaching
Description: The Wodan is an unusual design, with the magazine located above the barrel. It is capable of delivering a high-impact punch with its special ammunition. The Wodan can be loaded with various shells, high explosive, incendiary, plasma, and the unusual Mjolnir Arc slugs. The weapon also features a projected energy blade on the front, maintained by the unusual-looking attachment on the pump handle.
Weight: 4.6 kg, loaded, 4.1 kg, unloaded
Magazine Size: 12 shells
Rate of Fire: Pump-action
Range: Variable Range - 50 meters with slugs, 27 meters with other munitions.

No, it uses a particle acceleration system and charges the particles as they are leaving the firing channel to create an incendiary effect.
Particle acceleratorsΒ use electric fields to speed up and increase the energy of a beam ofΒ particles, which are steered and focused by magnetic fields. TheΒ particleΒ source provides theΒ particles, such as protons or electrons, that are to be accelerated.

Well you certainly got some epic weapon designs here

the 1st and 2nd ones i like a lot
I'd love to do a model but I wish I could get a bigger and a redraw on them or something

If you like I could redo them scaled up with mechanisms and stuff. I haven't been asked to do that often
I've done really rudimentary concept art for video game projects, one of which you can download and play from here at the following: [link]

yeh if you could redo #2 and make it clean and perfectly sideways and not on an angle I'd model the heck out of it
An image at least 600x800 would be good

Referring to the Svartalfar? (Means Dark Elf) I could do that. It was drawn on a piece of paper that is only 5 inches wide and about 8 inches deep.

That still didn't answer my question
Top right, top left, bottom right, or bottom left?

The particle rifle is my favorite. Looks to be a badass rapid-fire weapon of some sort.

Ysmir Arms' focus is centered around thermoelectrical and incendiary weaponry. And wow, I just realized how similar the Svartalfar sounds to the Needler in functionality. Hah. I guess if I think of it, it's probably already been done.

Yeah, I just read its description, and it is somewhat similar. Only it doesn't sound like these needles can "supercombine" and explode though. That's the biggest thing in Halo that makes the Needler the Needler.

In many ways, yes, but the beam weapon concept has been done since War of the Worlds. Consider it a precision electrical weapon.

Yeah, I can see that. But I thought the Martian Tripods used "heat beams"

If War of the Worlds were revised with a better understanding of directed energy weapons, I'd bet they'd be called disintegrator beams, ones that destabilize or disconnect atoms on a molecular level.

Thanks, but there are problems with my linework. I noticed this after having scanned the sheet in, but these were really hammered out fairly quickly, and done freehand without a ruler. Had I used a ruler, the line work would have been much nicer, but I did enjoy making them!
I am learning 3ds max right now so that I can do art asset creation for my degree's final project.
