Description Sometimes, when I've nothing else really to do, it gets into my head to design mod concepts for games I like; in this case, Sins of a solar Empire. Initially, I was thinking of these as maybe a rogue Human state in the default Sins setting, but they ended up somewhat too alien for that to fit.

Haven't really thought up a background for them, but if looks are anything to go by, they're probably pretty aggressive; their designs are almost all certainly intended for frontal assault. Maybe I'll give it a bit more thought.

They kinda resemble a cross between the Zentraedi and the Bydo empire almost...

Hmmmm... well, I have been asked to put something together for the Caelus mod. Maybe these guys?

That'd be your call; personally I'm not interested in Caelus, but seeing these in-game anywhere would be neat. Hopefully the next version of Starfarer will fix the AI issues with ship systems that are weapons; these designs just scream for built-in ship-specific energy cannons...

if they are for frontal assault...then i assume they are weak against Fighters and Bombers right?
