Description
There was very little evidence provided to prove that the last stand of the Thunderchild ever took place during the invasion. Of course the ship was never accounted for after the fall of the Martian invaders, but even the wreckage itself is unable to be located. It is suspected that the Martians removed the wreckage of the ship for examination. But no one is sure...This magnificent photograph was taken on one of the escaping boats leaving England. Considering the conditions of which it was taken, it turned out very clear and steady.
This is the only one of it's kind, and was donated in 1901 to the London Museum where it resides along with many other pieces of artifacts from the War, including parts of Martian machines...

Wearn't they fairly steampunky in the book, tey kept pumping steam out If I remember correctly.

Yes, some green gas exhaust from their joints, and when they deploy their heat-rays. So I should have said I made them to my interpretation from the book, with some minor differences.
