Description A young Herbert George Wells standing by his beloved Time Machine before he embarks on his maden voyage into the future. Into the unknown.
It was later that evening he returned to the present to tell his friends at dinner all about the fantastic and wildly out-of-this-world adventure he found himself in the middle of. Meeting up with the childish Eloi, the children of time. And the nightmarish Morlocks of the Underground caverns, operating terrible machinery and cannibalising on the sweet Eloi, exploiting them as cattle.
This is the last photo taken of him before he disapeared for a great many years. Some say he went into hiding, others say he perished during The Great Martian Invasion of Earth, but those who were close to him agreed that he had taken a journey. To 'right wrongs' in history. He never did speak about what had taken place in his absense.
Whatever the case, his magnificent Time Machine had vanished the same day he had.

Really nice. I see you based the model off the prop used in the 1960 film. I have not seen the 2002 film yet but I really like the book and the movie.

I did, yes. The 60s machine is such an iconic classical design. Genius really. The 200 film is good, but the machine is far larger and more intricate. Still a great design on their part, but was harder for me to achieve

The TARDIS was not thought through in a day. It is difficult to design a time machine...*looks at blank piece of paper* ...although from what I saw, both the 60's film. and the 2002 film prove that a seatbelt might be useful.

Haha one could spend days, weeks... months trying to think the TARDIS through
Too right about the seatbelt! Safety first. A lot of their troubles would have been saved were it not for some basic safety precautions.

Of course at the time the time travelers were thinking they would remain in the same location in space and not have to worry about...turbulence...On one of the covers for a reprint of The Time Machine did include a safety harness of some sort. but both films (and the contents of the book) say seatbelts save lives...and stress.
