Okay but, can you imagine the wild shenanigans this absolute mad lad would have gotten up to if vampires in the Buffy-verse had wings?
I have a bunch of fun headcanons to go with this, actually…
I’m always a sucker for wing hugs and cuddling, and you know Spike would 1000% do that with Buffy, which weirds her out at first but she definitely comes to like it XD Him just… being really expressive with them too, they flare when he’s startled and bristle when he’s mad. When he gets re-ensouled they itch like mad so he picks at them so they bleed and scab until Buffy helps him stabilize again. Then they both realize that they itch because they’re sprouting feathers and he winds up with a pair of big, fuck off literal angel wings that he’s not sure how he feels about until Buffy admits that they’re awfully nice and soft and he decides they’re alright after all.
