Now with a wonderful oneshot fic by darkmagess on Ao3!

I came up with a headcanon about Aziraphale’s angelic accents and decided I needed to do some art for Crowley’s demonic ones! Considering he’s a shapeshifter, I like to think that Crowley frequently has some little patch of scales on him at any given time, particularly along his lower back and spine.
When he gets flustered I like to think the patch expands, maybe to more visible parts of him, as he has to fight the urge to turn into a snake and slither away to hide from his emotions. It’s not easy to work him up into that state, but if anyone can manage it, it’s his angel
Anger can set his scales off too, but that’s even less common. Crowley’s quite used to feeling angry, after all, and is better able to control the shift because of that.
