Description
'Lizardfolk' is the common name for a group of bipedal, sentient lizards. Astounding about them is their ability for both bipedal and quadrupedal locomotion, as well as their intelligence and ability to create and use tools. There are a number of different species in all the tropical regions of the world, with different adaptations, diets and abilities. Generally however, all lizardfolk have venom glands in their mouths and are adept swimmers. Here presented are two most well known species.

Striped: small and with vibrant colors, striped lizardfolk form small communities in forests and jungles, usually close to the water. Sadly famous for fighting with crude weapons whose tips they coat with their venom. Ambush hunters, they employ a hit-and-retreat strategy with what they consider prey, which is everything that can succumb to their venom, even other lizardfolk.

Darkscale: big, strong, and fast, all attributes one would rather not give to a poisonous lizard. Darkscale are mostly solitary, and are feared and hated by their cousins for their tendency to steal kills with their superior strenght. Doesn't hurt that they're immune to all other lizardfolk's venom. They prefer to wield crude blunt weapons, and are the ones that spend most of their time on all fours, mostly rearing up to fight and/or assert dominance.

Info on Lizardfolk costumes is very scarce, given their hostility. More research needs to be done.
