Ever since I discovered Blind Channel thanks to ESC 2021, I got somewhat obsessed with the band. They struck a nerve. Some of their inspired me to create pictures with some original characters since the lyrics seemed fitting to them. Here's No. 4:

Okay, here's a really broken guy. This is Sheridan and just like the other characters from this series, he's from my elementarist project. He leads quite a careless life which could be called happy if there weren't some destiny overshadowing his youth and he can't find any more meaning in life than living for this purpose. Yes, chosen one trope ahead, I know ... but in his early twenties, he fulfills it. And then what? His body's broken, his girlfriend left him because he hasn't been fully honest with her and he still has most of his years ahead of him without any perspective, causing him to break down mentally. Yet he's someone who doesn't fully draw back into himself, but outwardly behaves like a madman. He knows it. And he celebrates it. For some time, he just doesn't want to be fixed, but just be the guy who breaks himself further. So there's the point where fitting lyrics come in ... the only part (as for others) would be real life reference to that mentioned singer, because Sheridan lives in a fantasy world and wouldn't know her.

This drawing is not fully accurate because according to his storyline he probably doesn't wear bandages and an exoskeleton at the same time. I just wanted to point out how ... done he is. Not fully satisfied with the result (wait for the next picture, that gets there, I suppose). Moreover, this exoskeleton might not be accurate as well. I tried to build something that resembles similar devices I did some research on, yet looks a bit different and still kinda makes sense. Maybe I failed, but hopefully I got at least a bit close to these goals. I meant to create something that supports and protects his bones and still enables him to move by himself. Yup ... complicated...

I honestly don't know by now why I didn't draw his right hand. He still has it and keeps it until the end.

Also, this is another one that makes me think I could have put a little more effort into the background. I guess this is the last one of this series that ended up as blank.

Oh, right, and he looks familiar to Dorean because they're related.

As for the whole series, the paper I painted on is absolutely unforgiving when I try to take a photo in good focus - it keeps on being blurry. And it's too big to scan. So I'm terribly sorry for blurs and quality losses. I tried my best.
